Federgon is the Belgian federation of HR service providers. It represents companies and organisations active in the broad field of work, talent and careers.
Core role of Federgon
Federgon is the umbrella organisation that:
- The defends interests of HR companies towards government and social partners;
- Quality labels and codes of conduct develops to ensure professional standards;
- Information, education and networking offers to its members;
- And if reference point applies to everything related to the private labour market in Belgium.
Our goal is clear: Empowering people to move forward with confidence and purpose.
When an organisation works with an HR service provider that is a member of Federgon and has a relevant quality label (e.g. Projectsourcing, Career Guidance, Recruitment), you can be confident that:
- The service provider operates according to a recognised quality framework.
- Contractual and legal aspects (= legislation, posting vs outsourcing) are correctly regulated.
- There is a certain amount of transparency and control is about processes, billing, instructional rights, etc.
==> As we operate in HR/operational domain, this is an additional assurance: it helps mitigate risks (compliance, reputation) and provides professional framework in, for example, external hiring or career guidance of employees.
